Synchronicity Strings was founded in Oakland, California in 2005 by Rachel Turner Houk. As the original cellist of the ensemble, she is also composer of the exclusive arrangements that give Synchronicity Strings it's unique sound.

Rachel is a British born USA implant who studied cello in London (Trinity College of Music) and New Jersey (Rutgers University), lived in Germany, Oakland and now enjoys the cold winters of Detroit, Michigan where she manages Synchronicity Strings from afar.

 

Rachel personally cares for all the bookings.  She will be your point of contact and guide you through each stage of planning your event.  With her years of experience and organizational prowess, you will be in exceptionally good hands.
